+1. The whole idea of having a presets menu is to make it quick to access, rather than typing it in, but the bigger the menu gets, the slower it is to use as it's a lot harder to find what you're looking for. Additional to this is the alphabetical ordering and lack of separators in the menu, it makes it quite a mess. Personally, I'd get rid of at least the XGA ones and the D4/D16 - I'd never even heard about those two before and there's scant info online (some weird digital tv thing?). It's also *less* clear now with PAL and NTSC, i.e. what's the difference between TV PAL and TV PAL 4:3? Seems like just the pixel aspect, but which one is correct? For people trying to produce content this isn't very helpful. Anyway, let's keep it simple, the add button is so people can add their own more obscure ones that they may have to use regularly, and it's also just as possible to share the presets online, rather than having to have every single one in Blender by default.
