If the primary purpose of the blog is simply to "Document small new
features", then there is an alternative available that could serve this
purpose. I just created an example
blueprint<https://blueprints.launchpad.net/blender>on launchpad that
describes how a blueprint could be used to achieve most of
the goals outlined for code.blender.org.
