Making one step out of technical considerations, I would just like to propose another name for the blog-aggregator: projects.blender.org/blog, being projects.blender.org the main developer portal with better wiki integration, more appealing and functional layout and especially content. Right now the latest news in the sidebar are from 2006, maybe it is also better to make sure this contents are updated and useful for potential and current developers.
I think that a discussion about this web content reorganization will appear in another thread in the next future, I do not want to highjack the discussion now.
