Great, that will help to avoid many confusion. Of course I again have to change things in my tuts but well... One request: Could the old behaviour still work (for 2.5x at least)? So when changing from world context to textures it will choose world textures etc. This will keep compatibility with already written tutorials and books. Also the placement is a bit cluttered, for now I think it would fit for now where the old "Brush" button was.
