I can do the "scrap wishlist additions to wiki" part to collect opinions in a global page. Writing in own user pages is especially good because the main UI page(s) wouldn't be cluttered and one can still write what he/she wants on own space. I can extract important and especially *schematic* blocks from user pages and condense/organize them, so that at least the different points of view are clear. I'd link to user pages so one can read there if needed.
