Thanks for noting the existence of blender-vfx mailing list, and your reply. 
But I think you might have misunderstood the goal of this project. Maybe the 
name ‘camera breathing’ is misleading because it refers to the shifting of 
angle view of lens when changing the focus. However, this project is an 
extension for the current limitation that the video clip has to be captured 
under the same focal length. So we are working on making the motion tracker 
able to handle shots with zoom-in/out motion. I guess we have the assumption 
that the camera model is pin-hole model with noticeable radial distortions. I 
may not fully understand the rationale behind this project and what artists 
really want, so correct me if I am wrong.
