Hi all, I'm only wanted to share a thought I have had during my long testing sessions.
During the test, sometimes I have to run in parallel version 2.78 and version 2.80 and when you start dozens of times Blender is very annoying (and prone to make mistakes) to review the version number to check if you are running 2.78 or 2.80. I think we have done a lot of work in 2.8 and it deserves already a different image for splash window and start to get a visual hint of what version are you running. This is only an idea, maybe I'm totally wrong.
