Again about the FreeStyle SVG Exporter.
This time to suggest an idea I guess is useful.
The idea is: why don't you enable vertex coloring to export fills, instead
of material? (or both, at user discretion)

Imagine as each vertex of the mesh had a colorstop (or whatever else it's
named) for a gradient in a SVG path (fill).
