I am not sure why my previous post is not showing up.

A quick recap:  It is often that you do not WANT to have majority
backing of a creature you have money on because you want another
player to ALSO want to help that creature succeed.

Additionally, when someone has the backing of a particularly strong
creature (the Wyrm for instance) the players who do not have money on
it should work together to destroy it.  Weakness IS strength because
nobody feels the need to gang up on weakness.

Being SECOND backer of a creature is frequently advantageous.  Being
THIRD backer is almost always a mistake.
