As a new gamer but addictive collector and player I have seen all the pros and cons arguments for listing editions separately. My take and two cents after considerable internal debates and chit chats is to follow a simple rule and just be consistent. If the new edition has a new title it should warrants it's own entry just like expansions. A second edition of "Agricola", "Nexus Ops", or "Fortress America" should stay remain within the same entry even though it my have new rules, cards, etc. However, if a game like Axis & Allies comes out with "Axis and Allies: 1941" it should deserves a separate entry. Unfortunately, this simple rule is never followed, as in the newest release of "Fortress America". Go figure!
