Requirement Details POSITION TITLE: Consultant - Senior Business Systems Analyst – Financial Reporting DURATION: One year LOCATION: New York City (Midtown) Please share resumes for this requirement. Manager is looking for people who are Technical Business Analyst The role is for Technical BA who can speak both technical and functional languages. Must possess good Communication skill The candidate should be able to understand how system flows and designs work and are related to the functional requirements People must have worked on Financial/Regulatory Reporting, Accounting, and accounting products market. Must have IFRS 9. Very strong in writing functional specification Experience with Database, must understand complex SQL statements and write basic Sql queries, and must have worked on UNIX and Windows platform. Business objects knowledge is a plus Some project management experience is a plus Market Risk and structured product knowledge is a plus PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lead business analyst for the EIFFEL - BMFR project. The project objective is to develop a dedicated Global Finance and Risk platform used for consolidation and regulatory reporting. The analyst will be responsible for designing the target functional architecture and conducting all functional aspects of the project for the Americas entities in conformity with the reporting requirements from local and head office stakeholders. Main Responsibilities: • Perform detailed functional analysis of current systems. • Document functional solutions. • Gather user requirements and create requirements and functional design documents. • Design functional architecture. • Analyze impact of proposed solutions. • Coordinate with developers to implement the functionalities required. • Plan, create and manage application testing (test cases), user testing and user training. • Follow-up on and coordinate with various projects actors (Including Head office, Finance & Risk departments , PMO and IT teams) during the different phases of (specifically design and testing phases). Required Skills: • Strong functional knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory reporting, consolidations, and liquidity management concepts. • Strong knowledge of accounting in an Investment Banking environment. • Strong knowledge of Investment Banking products (Commercial and Market areas). • Strong technical and functional skill-set to work with business users and developers to clarify requirements and design target solutions. • Project management experience. • Understanding of data warehouse concepts and principles and the ability to write SQL queries to navigate data in Sybase and Oracle databases. • Data analysis. • Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Risk reporting is not mandatory but would be a plus. Experience: • Must have 5+ years’ experience performing business analysis in a similar environment.
