Perhaps if we use a textwithiconcell, I think we should implement a webview
delegate to get the favicon. Would that be webView:didReceiveIcon:forFrame:?

That's correct, external items are not scriptable. Scriptable objects (other
than the application) need a container, and (external) groups are not
scriptable. And there are more subtleties with scripting external items.
