I've been thinking about the third screenshot for the web site and the suggestion to use a web-related one sounded like the best one to me as it will be something visibly different with a potential 'cool' effect.
The thing is, however, that I am never using that feature myself which probably disqualifies me from using it. Besides, when playing around with the default bookmarks I always found the result clumsy and not- working (with there never being a 'magic' appearance of bibliography entries while browsing Google Scholar results, say, so I'm not quite sure whether I'm not using the feature correctly (which in itself may hint that its UI isn't the way it's supposed to be) or whether the feature isn't ready for prime time. I also think the back/forward/reload buttons should be left of the address bar in the web browser as they are in all (decent) web browsers. Sven P.S. Last year I also tried to write some notes about the direct catalogue search features BibDesk has now, but I never sent them because I'm not sure they'll make any sense to you and I have no clue about those things anyway. I can send them separately, so you have the input, but I'm not sure it will actually help. My impression about them is that they're potentially very powerful and cool but that using them is so clumsy at this stage that the power may remain hidden. -- Sven-S.
