I would say that a file dropped on the new UI in the detail editor  
should be autofiled. It is like setting the Local-Url in the current  
situation.

AutoFile modifies your file system, so that should most definitely  
not be turned on by default. Also I'm not sure about a Library  
location for autofile. Especially for more unexperienced Mac users  
it's a place they would mostly ignore.
