If you have an ongoing need to import from a particular offbeat database,
Bookends (Mac bib software) has the capacity for building user-defined
import filters that can deal with this sort of thing. For example, you
define a filter called "Philosopher's Index", then define the tags they
provide such as "availability" etc, and designate which field those will
import into. This filter can be saved and reused. Once the info is imported
through the filter, it can be exported in a standard format to BibDesk.
