Or by just trying. Drag & Drop and Copy & Paste are ubiquitous in MacOSX. So when you think it /may/ make sense that you would be able to use it, it doesn't hurt to try if it does. Or add an RFE if it doesn't. And be aware that some controls, like text views and tables, are often drag sources or drop targets, while drag/drop and copy/paste often duplicate their functionality (Apple even recommends that in the HIG). Moreover, the Paste menu item in the Edit menu shows if it is enabled. > On that note, this should all be fully documented.
