Hi, This is too late, but as another thought -- can't one use a symbolic link? If you symbolically link ~/Documents/Papers into ~/Dropbox, it should work fine. See Dropbox wiki http://wiki.getdropbox.com/TipsAndTricks/SyncOtherFolders
