Ok, I'll dig into the SearchKit documentation ...
Next, I investigated the Database Find and Replace tool.
Hyphenated queries work when I search the "Abstract" field. But,
oddly enough, no results are returned when I search for an
existing hyphenated cite key (e.g. smith-adams) with the "Cite
Key" field selected.
You must have done something wrong (and I can't say what), as this
will simply do a substring match. Perhaps case sensitivity, or a
different hyphen character or another typo?
It doesn't seem so ... I am not getting any results, regardless of
what I use for the query. This behaviour seems to be unique to Find
and Replace with the "Cite Key" selected ... I am able to search
other fields without a problem !?
