I'm so sorry if this sounds like such a simple question, but I have spent
hours on various wikis and other sources trying to figure this out:
I am new to LaTeX and BibDesk. How exactly do I use citations entered in
BibDesk in an article in my TeXShop file? I read on the wiki that I should
just drag the cite button from my BibDesk window to the relevant area in my
TeXShop file and then run an applescript from my BibDesk system. I
downloaded the ReplaceCite Applescript (which I found on this wiki) and
tried doing this. I got an error message: "AppleScript reported the
following error:
TextEdit got an error: AppleEvent timed out."

Can someone please have pity on a programming dunce and explain to me what
exactly I need to do to get this to work?

Thank you,

Sarah
