Greetings,
I was wondering if there is a way to remove the punctuation from the author
field when it is formatted with the Author key: "abbreviatedNormalizedName"

I would a template file for a bibliography with the authors listed without
punctuation:

Lipp P, Egger M & Niggli E (2002). Spatial characteristics of sarcoplasmic
reticulum Ca2+ release events triggered by L-type Ca2+ current and Na+ current
in guinea-pig cardiac myocytes. J Physiol542, 383–393.

Currently, the following template:

<$publications>
<$pubauthors.abbreviatednormalizedname.stringbyremovingt...@componentsjoinedbycommaandampersand/>
 (<$pubFields.Year/>). <$pubFields.Title/>.
<$pubFields.Journal/><$pubFields.Volume/>, <$pubFields.Pages/>.
</$publications>

Yields:

Lipp, P., Egger, M. & Niggli, E. (2002). Spatial characteristics of
sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ release events triggered by L-type Ca2+ current and
Na+ current in guinea-pig cardiac myocytes. J Physiol542, 383–393.

Thank you for any suggestions,
joe

P.s. Perhaps the Author Column within Bibdesk could also have the punctuation
removed when displaying Abbreviated First Names (set in preferences)?
