To question 3):  Yes, you can if your institution has a subscription: 

1) Select "Web" (on the left) 
2) Click on SpringerLink (middle "Subscription Sites", which depends on from 
where you try this)
3) Search some records
4) An external group containing the record you are interested in offers an 
"Import" button
5) Click on the "Import" button and you should be done

I tested this searching for "Fischlin" and could successfully import the paper 
with title "Climate risks and their impact on agriculture and forests in 
Switzerland".
