The problem seems to be in accessing your printer settings, perhaps that's somehow corrupted.
Were you showing the TeX preview in the document window the last time? Try to write the following (single) line in Terminal.app and hit enter (don't launch BibDesk): defaults write -app BibDesk BDSKBottomPreviewDisplayKey -int 1 After that, open a NEW document, is the problem gone?
