Hi-

A LaTex newbie, fiddling with the Preferences to Bibdesk's preview;
and I had a couple of questions. Perhaps someone could point me to
answers if I've missed them in a search?

In TexLive, there are quite a few bibliographic styles beyond the "8
basic." I thought I could use the combo-box to select the .bst:
"chicago," but in typing it in, Bibdesk warns me that I may have to
modify the template for that to work.

I would have thought that Bibdesk would read all available .bst files
at startup (or something) and present them to the user, but this isn't
the case. Is the combo-box list modifiable, or is there a reason why
it isn't?

Also, if I want to use "bibtex8," I can obviously specify that in the
path, but in the text input area, can I also type in command-line
arguments to bibtex8? Say: "-8" or "--wolfgang"?

Thanks so much!

Charles Turner
