Dear List,
I'm new to BibDesk and looking to modify an existing template (the AMA template
from CiteInPages) to match the Vancouver style as the two are very close.
However I can't find a way to have a single full stop at the end of the author
list when using et al.
@componentsJoinedByCommaAndAmpersandWithEtAlAfterSix
The template looks like this:
<$authors.unpunctuatedabbreviatednormalizedname.stringbyremovingtex.stringbyremovingcurlybra...@componentsjoinedbycommaandampersandwithetalaftersix/>.
<$fields.Title.string...
For a single author the ouput is
Author A. Title <etc>
and for multiple authors
Author A, <etc> Author F, et al.. Title <etc>
The two full stops look odd and don't match the style

any thoughts appreciated,
Jon
