Another use for this just occurred to me: If, for example, somebody who uses LaTeX is collecting their notes or writing sections of their document in a rich-text application like DevonTHINK, Journler, MacJournal, Scrivener, VoodooPad, etc., then he or she could use this technique to paste \cite commands that are also live x-bdsk hyperlinks. I know one can use the "Show Reference with Cite Key" service to open a publication's editing window from any \cite command, but this would allow one to click on the \cite command to select the publication as well.

Can't you copy that via the Edit->Copy As menu? AFAICT that puts a URL object on the pasteboard, so I assumed (possibly incorrectly) that it would appear as a clickable link in an rich text editor. It might be easier to use PyObjC to convert the citekey to an RTF link, but that's not part of the system on 10.4. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Bibdesk-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bibdesk-users
