The attached bib, downloaded from 
http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/ie901407x, refuses to open in bibdesk when 
double-clicked. It seems the problem is the missing cite key. Nonetheless, if I 
copy/paste the contents of the file (below) onto bibdesk, bibdesk accepts the 
record, after asking what to do about the missing cite key. It seems to me that 
double-clicking should give you the option to read the file with or without a 
cite key just as copy/paste does. Incidentally, if the reference is downloaded 
as ris, it is imported properly. 

A minor thing:  when I double-click on this bib, I am given the option to edit 
the source. If I choose to edit, I still have to dismiss a window with the 
warning "The document “achs_iecred49_5222-1.bib” could not be opened." The 
extra click to get this window out of the way is only a minor inconvenience but 
it would be nice not to have to do it.
