Then do those have different meaning from BDSKConverter? It would do
{\"u} -- DeTeXify --> ü
ü -- TeXify --> {\"u}
In case the accented characters above get munged by the list, deTeXify converts
from TeX to Unicode character and TeXify converts a Unicode character to a TeX
sequence.
