After so many years of using bibdesk and I never thought of doing a cmd-z…! Wouldn't a cancel/save button be more intuitive? Talking about intuitive, cmd-z is not a standard way for getting rid of windows. In mail, for example, typing cmd-z after cmd-n does not get rid of the new message window.
