I have been using bibdesk for many years now with no problems. Yesterday I
downloaded a lot of book chapters from a university library and added them to
bibdesk as usual.
Now bibdesk will not open. When I click the icon, it jumps up and down a couple
times as it used to before opening, then it stops jumping but does not open. I
tried taking out some of the chapters (there were many, up to 50 chapters per
book or so, with about 8 books) and the bib ref for them but it still will not
open.
My Bib folder is using 6.64 GB now, could that be the problem? Is it too much?
Thank you very much for your help with this problem. I use bibdesk almost every
day and it's an essential part of my research workflow.
