It depends a bit on how you sync your files. BibDesk saves many window
settings, such as the columns, in the extended attributes of a file. So if your
sync method copied extended attributes, these settings should also be kept. If
not, the settings come from the app preferences, which remember the last set
changes to these settings. If you want to copy the BibDesk preferences between
systems, you need to use the “defaults” command line tool, in particular the
“export” and “import” commands.
