I thought so too, but installing google drive etc didn't help. I think they also changed something on their side and you didn't have the problem because you successfully logged in before that change. Not sure.
I guess the only option left is webdav. Or finding a developer to re-invent Pocketbib. I would be willing to pay .... Essentially Pocketbib presented a bibtex-file in a user-friendly way and allowed sorting, searching etc.... It supported static groups created in BibDesk. And the links to files....
