As is always true with respect to saddles, comfort depends in a large degree on how well the shape of the saddle matches yours. I had one of those Ideale saddles - honey, aluminum flat saddle rails with adjustment clamp built in, forgot the model number - on my first tandem. It was OK, but never anything near as comfortable as a Brooks Pro or a B.17. > I believe (and I'm not looking this up, just going from memory) that > the 88s were touring saddles (mine were), generally comparable with > say Brooks B17s (or the lower quality B15s). It's too bad they're not around anymore. For some customers, they were a better fit than a Brooks, and those flat aluminum rails were unique. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Bicycle Lifestyle" group.
