I've gotten fairly sloppy housing cuts with my cable cutter (also
Park), so i usually use a regular sidecutter pliers for housing.
That's for typical brake housing, not SIS, for which i use the cable
cutter. I'll usually file then end a bit to even the ends, then use a
nail or awl to open up the inner plastic liner.

I have also used a Dremel with cut-off wheel to cut housing, and that
works well too, but i don't always feel like getting it out.
