Dear All,
I hope most of the members are aware that India is sending its 1st
Satellite, named Chandrayaan to moon. It is a Maruti car sized equipment
expected to leave Indian soil from Sriharikota on 22nd Oct. 2008 hardly a
week from now. The enthusuasm reflecting from the faces of Space Scientists
& Technologists of ISRO indicates a successful sending on the given time and
date provided cyclone and other natural disturbances permit.

Chandrayaan will remain in Moon's orbit and keep sending info on many
desired area for human survival there for two years.
