You are correct Tass. Most Biharis would very quickly relocate from western
countries to non-Bihari cultures like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai.
Marathis and many of the fast developing states offer somthing more than just
jobs. They provide a fair playing field, and a mild, and critically, a more
kinder mindset. This mindset, a more kinder approach to education, work, is
somthing that must come first. Education needs t be reformed fast before anyone
from the world, forget anywhere else in India, will make a move to Patna and
set up the next Wipro, Satyam etc. Nitish Kumar has made fantastic progress
with a lot of this, but I see no change to the kinder society, which begins at
school. If Bihar can make that 'jump', then thounds of young people return.
Thanks, Bala

Hi Bala,
I could not agree more than what you have mentioned. Yes we need to make
drastic changes into the mindset of people living there. World has moved way
ahead, but in Bihar, unfortunately, we are still living in stone age. We need
to rise up and move forward. What surprises me most is when we Biharis' move
out of our own province, we are totally a different breed. Can we not be the
same while in Bihar.
I am willing to give up Canada as my home and relocate myself back to Bihar,
but like many others I would like to be re-assured about basics. Can we
collectively try and do something about it. Let us give it a try.
Keep the efforts of building Bihar, I am sure we will make a head way soon.
Warm wishes,
Tass
