Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi, Dy. Chief Minister for Bihar has tabled results
of a growth survey. The results indicate the followingGrowth
Ratesconstruction - 21.53%communications - 16.01%trade, hotels and
restaurants - 12.03%Agriculture - 1.38%The Net State Domestic Product
(NSDP) growth rate is estimated to be 5.57% which is lower than the
national average of 6-7 %. However as per the Dy. CM this figure is
5.57% is higher than the average growth Bihar has seen of 3-4%.As per
the survey Bihar stands 28th in the crime chart of the
nation.Industrial front:No of proposals approved - 164No of proposals
already implemented - 15No of proposals ready for production - 149
proposals worth 23,000 crores are in advanced stages of

methodology of this survey, who were the participants etc as knowing
that would give me more confidence about the report.
