OK everyone on this list seems to be have of solutions to all of our transportation problems. Now here is your chance to make your voice heard. DVRPC has just made the FY 2003 Transportation Improvement Program available online.
The TIP is an agreed upon list of federally funded priority transportation projects in the region. http://www.dvrpc.org/transportation/tip.htm DVRPC is taking comments until June 6th, there is an email link on the website. If reading the TIP is new to you, I suggest that you take a few minutes to understand what the TIP is and how to read each line item. Then download the PDF document and take a couple of hours to look at it. If you have an issue with a specific project make sure you include the TIP# in your comments. When you read through each project ask yourself this important question - What about bikes?
