Eh--we're not way out on the edge of town over here! Perhaps you
were thinking of the American Family mongo development out towards Sun
Prairie. This one is closer to Gold's Gym. You can't miss the big
ol' pink wedding cake building that houses that fine exercise hall. Kinda
like Rocky Horror, Part II. ;) If you hit that, you've gone too far.
There's only one development I know of back there, and that's the one put
together by the Blettner Group. You'll see a daycare housed there, and a
sign for O'Malley's Cafe on the front of the building. I believe that is
the area set up for the meeting, according to Larry's message.

I am torn, because in addition to this meeting, there is also
one at Pinney Branch Library at the same time regarding the addition of a
Culver's Franchise (which seems to be wildly popular) at the corner of
Lumberman's Trail and Cottage Grove Road. This would be about four blocks
down from the East Side YMCA. I have no problem with a Culvers, plenty of
my contemporaries will enjoy waddling in for dinner, and who am I to argue with
excess? Pointless exercise, no pun intended. <grin> But I am
concerned about what will surely involve "cuts" to the sidewalk
leading into Cottage Grove Road, in addition to the traffic flow heading up and
down Cottage Grove Road, seeking to turn into either Lumberman's Trail or the
new driveway. Another reason I am concerned about traffic on this stretch,
Arthur. :)
