you were west bound on the stretch in front of machinery row, i was east bound. i had hit all three lights green coming down from the square which would account for my speed. a cyclist going extremely slow pulled out right in front of me just as i passed the corner of the building. i couldn't pass right for the wall. i couldn't pass left for a poll. i braked hard with the only brake i have and of all mysteries, the cable slipped right through the nut. i swerved, you swerved. you yelled and i tried to shout an apology but was too busy trying not to kill anyone or myself. at any rate, if you're reading this, you have my sincerest apologies; it was not recklessness (of which i have my fair share) just mechanical failure.
