Here's a silly idea for a fun exercise: for a per-use fee of (I _think_) 75 cents, 
you can do a three-way call from any phone. So next time this happens, call 
the "other number", ask 'em to hold for a second, hit the switchhook on your 
phone (or the "flash" button if you have one), dial the second number, hit 
switchhook/flask again, and ask 'em to settle it between themselves, once 
and for all, while you're on the line.

I presume there's a "border" somewhere, such that, for example, the 10-600 
blocks are considered "east", and the 700 block on out is considered "west". 
They both should know what that point is, and should agree on it. 'Course, 
wouldn't the most logical thing be that if it's WEST Dayton, it's Streets 
WEST? Oops, did I say "logical"?
