I'm writing a story for _Northside News_ about bicycle transportation on
the northside and would like to hear from Nort'siders (and others) about
their perceptions of the problem spots and the good routes for commuting
needs, shopping, recreation, et cetera. What kinds of improvements would
you like to see? How do you see it integrating with the rest of the city's
transportation system?

Ald. Dorothy Borchardt is floating an idea of using the rail corridor as a
possible bikeway from Warner Park path or Sherman Plaza to East Washington
corridor and downtown. What would be the possible strengths and weaknesses
of that idea?

I'm doing this on something of a short deadline and would like to hear from
people this week. Please reply privately to assure that I get your
responses in a timely fashion. If you feel that it would be appropriate
for the digest, you can also send it there, but including my address will
help avoid my missing your reply. Thanks!

Now go have a beer,

Bob Paolino

"A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a
proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven."
