Tim,

Not if you don't worry about electro-magnetic radiation from your refrigerator, 
microwave, or stove.  The transmission line is buried deep enough that you would get 
exposed to a stronger electro-magnetic field from common appliances.  I can't remember 
but I think the construction of the cable also minimizes exposure to electro-magnetic 
fields.
