Folks,

I have read many studies on the link with obesity,
activity, air pollution, run-off, etc. with sprawl but
does any know of any studies on the link to drunk
driving and sprawl? It would seem to be a logical
that a community built around the automobile would
increase the amount of drunk driving compared to a
community where you have options in transportation.
It would seem like another good reason to build
communities where folks have the ability to
bike/walk/mass transit instead of just the auto.

Cheers,
