The survey also (except for a catch-all choice for "other") excludes some obvious
major categories, such as "Labor Practices", "Community Involvement", "Business type
(ie co-op/collective)", "Health food options", "Organic food options",
"Locally-produced food options", "Local currency acceptance", "Bike parking". Yet they
considered "Free samples" a category worthy of inclusion. Oh yeah, people throng to
store X just to get those free toothpicked cubes of Johnsonville brats.

This has me wondering, since (AFAIK) Kohl's is a union shop and Copps is not, what
will happen with representation in the stores that get bought but remain open?

Grocery cost calculation? Shoot, people generally don't figure "embedded" transpo
costs _anywhere_ into their budgets. Why should this be any different? Harvey and
Henry must be laughing in their graves.
