There was a huge article in a mid-May Sunday edition of the Arizona Republic about development in the Phoenix area. The newest suburb is 39 miles from the city. Folks who can't stand each other continue to move further away from the city center. Summer temperatures in the area reportedly have risen 11 degrees in 25 years. But it doesn't matter as long as I've got mine. The "heat island" phenom was reported four years ago: http://search.csmonitor.com/durable/1999/09/23/p16s1.htm and it's only getting hotter. --jam > > I also read in the WSJ > that families who have lived in Sun Prairie for a number of years are now > moving to Columbus to escape the high traffic, property tax and price of > living in Sun Prairie. _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
