Am I the only one to whom the phrase "selective enforcement" sticks out like a sore
thumb
wrt this upcoming activity? In what way will it be "selective"? "Selective" wrt type
of
vehicle (car/bike)? Does it mean that bicyclists who perform "rolling stops" will be
pulled over, while car drivers doing rolling stops will be ignored as is custom? Will
the
routine and pandemic illegal use of bike lanes by motor vehicles (W. Dayton, the
square,
et al) be overlooked even more blatantly than now, in order to devote resources to
this
"selective enforcement"? Is "selective" broad enough that it may include criteria that
are unrelated to traffic safety? Can I possibly include one single sentence in this
post
that is not a question?---------------------
