Seems to me a HUGE fine (like $2,000) for hitting a 
pedestrian/bicyclist/stroller/mobility-
assistance device within a designated cross walk would be the only thing that might 
get 
attention.

Not to burst a bubble on eventual peace love and understanding, but an article in 
today's 
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel pointed to the fact that most people who have had license 
revocations CONTINUE to drive.

Hello?  Like, My GAWD, they'll take away my license just because I didn't pay my 
fines? 
Where's my First Amendment rights?  Totally gross!

Coddling these folks who drive after revocation by referring to them as "otherwise 
law-abiding 
citizens" --oh don't get me started.
