I look at it as good cross-pollinization. I think it great to learn how things are progressing in other WI communities. LaX, I've always thought, is actually a pretty good bike town. Much of it is on a grid, so there is lots of good side street connectivity. It is damned flat. And there is hardly a stop sign in the entire community. I sympathize with the writer in terms of connectivity between Onalaska & LaX. That is a big gap.

Don't take this as a hint to keep LaX news off this list (cuz it ain't!), but I've long thought LaX is ripe for its own bikies list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). Dan Herber & his posse used to be real active, and I keep hearing good stuff through you, etc. Jules coffee shop seemed to be the human-powered hub of coulee country. And while I think the personal, face-to-face connectivity is of vital, primary importance, the email list thing helps oil the gears, so to speak.
