What if riding a biketo work, to the store,
with the same friends every nightmade you
ordinary instead of odd?
The new issue of Bicycling magazine has a feature describing a project in which 50
people in Portland -- the one for which that OTHER city (on the Columbia and
Willamette, with a little more beer, and with a rail transit system and free transit
rides in Fareless Square) was named instead of being called Boston -- were given Trek
hybrids. The article follows how the biketown folks used their new bicycles.
Hmmm, I wonder if we could do something like this (or at least borrow some of the
people's stories) for Bike to Work Week.
Now go back to lunch!
Now go have a beer,
