I heard from a reliable source that there was a bicycling/car collision on the intersections of Glenway St. and the S/W bike path about a week ago. But I saw nothing reported in the newspapers or here on it.
I was told it was a male bicyclist (who was not wearing a helmet) that caused the "accident" by trying to beat a motor vehicle that was approaching the bike path. To add insult to injury, the bicyclist was not wearing a helmet. There were obvious head injuries so it serves the bicyclist right for not wearing a helmet, said a person who was later present at the scene of the collision. Paramedics were on the scene.
